Hello,

I'm so happy to be here but I hate what's brought me here, searching for answers. I'm blessed to be the Mother of one healthy son, and the Mother of 2 angels. I'm currently going through my second miscarriage (in three months, and in a row) . Having had one successful pregnancy I just cannot understand why I'm going through this now with no explanations. With my first m/c I had to have a D&C and I don't know whats going to happen with this one. All I do know is that my OB (only seen this new one twice) said, after I called frantic to tell him I was bleeding, No need in coming in there is nothing I can do for you. My first m/c was sent off for pathology and I still have no answers. Doctors have assured me..after performing no test except for diagnosing miscarriage.. that my RH factor has no factor in my subsequent unsuccessful pregnancies. I'm so confused and it's so hard for me to believe that there are NO answers to possibly prevent this in future pregnancies . I really appreciate your thoughts on this matter and I want to thank you for giving families like mine, a bit of hope in fulfilling our family. Thank you and Bless you.

To the Miller Family

Your story is one of the most common that I see. Many cannot understand why they can have one successful pregnancy then continue to have losses. There are many reasons for this and all are treatable. In fact the good news is that its unusual that you won't have another child. The problems can range anywhere from immunologic(issues that can be triggered by the first pregnancy) to acquired thrombophilic issues(blood clotting issues). Its is also entirely possible that your two losses were genetic and coincidental and may not happen again even with out treatment, but at this point you certainly need to have a work up.
Feel free to call me and fill out the questionairre on the "contact us' section of the website. I would be happy to consult with you.
There is a lot if information about your issues on the causes of miscarriage section on the website. Good Luck I hope I can be of service to you.

Doctor,

Thank you so much for your time in personally responding to me. That makes me feel really good to know that there is actually a doctor out there that takes this issue seriously. I'm going to follow your advice and am reading more in-depth on your site. I have already filled out the form and I'm hoping to speak with you or someone that can understand, by phone because I am in Virginia- but I've had no response as of yet. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
