Hi Dr Braverman-

I am a 39 year old healthy female. I have had one live birth 21 years ago. On birth control until Dec 2010. I have had 3 losses since last January 2011--all very different.
Loss #1=Missed miscarriage at 8 weeks-baby passed at 6 wks had a D&C
Loss #2=loss was at 12 weeks after being in the hosital for 5 days for fibroid degeneration pain/treatment....all was fine up until then. The fribroids were discovered early in this pregnancy but they hoped they would not interfere but because they were inside and rather large(one golf ball/one orange) they did cause an issue. Had a D&C
Repeat loss testing ALL NORMAL including karotype
December 2011 Had surgery to removed fibroids-full abdominal myomectomy very succesful
Starting trying again march 2012
Loss #3=chemical at 4 wks.positive HPT at 13 dpo(hcg was 33/progesterone 26) tests went stark white negative within 5 days--just like a late period

I am on baby aspirin all cycle, and progesterone after confirmed ovulation

HSG and endometrial biopsy all normal and clear

My RE just did the clomid challenge test and here are my results:

CD 3 results:
FSH=6.9
Estradiol=26
TSH=.80
AMH-1.6

CD 10 results:
FSH=11.3

what does this mean for me? Is it time for more aggressive treatment? My RE wants to continue the clomid and just do timed intercourse and then if not pregnant by October 2012, move on to something else. Are the results of my clomid challenge test in any way correlated back to having repeat losses????
Please any help or info is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Dr. Braverman
