I had an uncomplicated healthy pregnancy and gave birth to a baby boy in 2007. I have had 4 miscarriages over the last two years. 2 of them were at 6 weeks and the other 2 were at 8-9 weeks but never saw a heart beat with any of them. I just cannot go through another one! I have had a lot of testing (thyroid, clotting, etc). Im sure they have not been as extensive as I need but nothing has been found. Do you think I have an immune problem? I am just at a loss for what to do. I am a 28 year old healthy women. My husband is 31 and healthy. I would love some advice.

Hi Kali, I am very sorry for your losses. Beleive me there is a lot of testing that I am sure you have not had. This does sound like an immune issue and are more common after a first born male. Please call my office and schedule a consultation I would be happy to guide you , the good news is that once you've had a baby it is unusual that you will not have another, we just need to see where the problem lies and we will.
