Hello Dr.Braverman, So far I've had 4 failed IVF I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2004, from that point I have not been pregnant. Last year I started ttc thru IVF so far we have had 4 unsuccessful ivf. I asked my RE if he felt like the RA is causing me no success, he doesn't believe it has no factor. He sent me to a hematologist to run blood work she doesn't believe I have a clotting issue, the only thing that was abnormal was my aanticardiolipin was elevated, it's actually been elevated the last 3 times they checked it. My rheumatologist doesn't believe my level are elevated she state it is where it should be due to me having RA. I'm at at a lost and feel defeated my husband doesn't want to give up he want me to exhaust everything before I just give up.
i forgot to mention I have a 13 yr old son which was conceived normally but that was before I was diagnoised with RA....we are planning on setting up an appt with you. We live in Florida but I would really like any advise you have for me. Thank you

RA is clearly associated with IVF failures and RPL. The good news is that this CAN be treated so do not despair. I look forward to meeting or talking with you , please call my office and they will schedule a SKYPE or telepone consultation with me.

Thank you for your quick response, I called your office today and make an appt for a consult on June 22, that's the earliest your office had. I started a new cycle of ivf today with my RE, I really wish we could hire you to work with our dr during this cycle. If there is anyway you could have them squeeze me in it would be greatly appreciated it. Right now the only thing I'm taking is baby aspirin, prednisone and a Vitelli patch at the moment, I will start other med's in a few days. This will be our 5th time doing ivf. Thank you again

Even if I squeezed you in , I would not have enough time to get back all of the results that I need to give you a correct treatment plan. Call the office and tell them you want to just have a brief conversation with me, lets see what we can do , I know you need treatment and an IVF cycle without it will most likely fail.
