4th Miscarriage - age or immune issue

I have recently (2 weeks ago) had a missed miscariage at around 6 weeks following first IVF cycle.
I have had 1 previous missed miscarriage (18 months ago) at around 6 weeks (after seeing a heartbeat at 5+6) and 1 chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks 6 months ago
In addition to this I had a spontaneous miscarriage at around 5- 6 weeks 20 years ago.

I have no children and am now 42 years old.

My fertility specialist says that the cause of my miscarriages is most likely to be chromosomal due to age however I feel that something is happening at 6 weeks to stop development...I feel sure that with both of the missed miscarriages that the fetus developed to 6 weeks, had a heart beat and then just stopped and I am concerned that if there are immune issues that even if we keep trying to concieve the pattern of loss at 6 weeks will continue.

I have read a lot of information about boosting egg quality but am sceptical about this, can you advise me if there is anything I can do to improve my chances or test for immune issues

Thanks

It is more likely that you need to address the implantatioin issues which most likely are of immune or thrombophilic(blood clotting) etiology. We have supplements that we beleive assist in obtaining better egg quality , but the other issues must certainly be ruled out first. Please call my office and we would be happy to schedule a skype or telephone consultation with you.
