My husband and I are 31 years old and I have had 5 miscarriages in the last 2 years. 2 were chemical pregnancies. The other 3 we saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks, but they all stopped developing by 6 1/2 weeks resulting in missed miscarriages. I had D&Cs with those 3 pregnancies and had genetics done. The first was a normal male, the second they couldn't get to grow, and the last was identical twins that showed normal females. I have gotten pregnant naturally each time, even with the last pregnancy that was identical twins. I've been diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome(beta2 glycoprotein1) and hasimotos. In the last pregnancy I was treated with low dose asprin and 25 mcg levothyroxine daily. I was also on lovenox 40 mgs and endometrin 300mgs after ovulation. My husbands sister has been trying to get pregnant for 10 years. She has had multiple failed cycles and one chemical pregnancy. My OB mentioned that it might be possible that my husband and his sister share some type of single gene mutation that is causing the issues. Do you think that is possible and if so is there anyway to test for that? Also, do you think there are other immune type treatments that could be tried before surrogacy?

Thanks!

You dont need surrogacy just a complete and proper evaluation that is beyond the scope of where you are . Please call my office and we can schedule a free 10 min consult so we can discuss your case and the need for our services. This should be very treatable so do not despair.
