Dear Dr. Braverman,

Let me give you some background. There is a lot involved with my case but I was hoping you could help us to complete our family. I was born with a hole in by heart and was diagnosed at the age of 12 with Noonan's syndrome. After completing genetic testing we found that I was a carrier of the maple syrup urine disease.

My husband and I were married in 2005. In 2009 we decided I would go off birth control which I was on since 1999. I hadn't gotten a menses for 6 months when I went to see a reproductive endocrinologist. We ran a battery of tests, which led me to see a hemotologist, endocrinologist and reumotologist. All of which said they could find no problems. My husband had multiple tests done as well including bloodwork and serm fragmentation tests. I have been through 5 clomid cycles which led to no success. I then had 6 IUI cycles which led to the last 2 being chemical pregnancies. We then had 3 IVF cycles. The first was fresh, then frozen and then fresh with pgd. We thawed the frozen as well for this test. 5 came out as good embryos, 3 are still frozen. The 2 embryos that were transfered on March 28th were blastocyst and the other had started to hatch.

Please let me know if you can help us. I feel like I am at the end of my rope and am looking for any other suggestions to help us have a baby.

Thank You
Eryn

Hello, Im very sorry for all the difficulties you have experienced. Whenever there is failure either chemical pregnancies for failure to concieve with blastocysts you need a full immunological work up. I would then be able to suggest to you possible treatments or at least let you know if there is more that can be done, but I suspect there is. Please call my office and ask for Kim , she will arrange a consultation with me.
