Hi Dr. Braverman.

I will be 36 in 2 days and have had 3 miscarriages in the last 8 mos. I have 3 kids conceived and carried without complication. I was tested after my 2nd miscarriage and my FSH was at 7, Estridiol "looked good" and my AMH was at .9. At CD21 my progesterone was at a 6. Is the AMH indicative of poor egg quality? Is low progesterone indicative of poor egg quality? None of these recent pregnancies have made it past 7 weeks. If my egg quality is poor will clomid help bring about a better egg?

Thanks so much!
MRSB

You should never draw conclusions (and I dont as well) without having a complete workup performed as to the reason for your losses.
A low AMH is not uncommon in our practice and we have many successes , hence you are obligated to look for other causes. There are new situations that can arise to lead to these losses even though you have had prior uncomplicated pregnancies. If all of the workup was negative, then you can go back to focusing on the low AMH , I suspect you will find something else.
I would be happy to help guide you , feel free to call my office and we can have a brief chat.
