Dear Dr. BravermanI've had sore throat and mild congestion since yesterday which also happened to be trigger day for my IVF cycle. My temperature was also raised slightly, so had to take a paracetamol last night just in case. Things are looking much better today but still not 100%How does common cold around trigger/collection time affect my chances for a succesful treatment? Would it cause an immune flare that could affect implantation ( I am likely to have a day 5 transfer so still a good chance that i will recover by then)I'm on Neupogen and prednisoloneMany thanks in advanceS

I think you will be fine, I dont know your case so you must follow the advice of your doctor, but I might consider stopping the prednisone if you are ill in any way. The neupogen would only help in this situation .
