Hi Dr. Braverman,

I've been preparing my body for 8 months to have an egg donor cycle. I had a D&C back in early April because my RE saw something on my ultrasound he wanted removed. My OB-gyn who did the D&C didn't see anytihng to remove but did the D&C with suction anyway. My transfer was 6 days out when I just had my ultrasound on Monday. The RE was shocked to see more pools of fluid on the ultrasound and determined it must be andometriosis since I had D&C recently. Also my lining was thin - about 5mm.

I have also seen an RI out here in LA and am on Delestrogen shots, prednisone, Heparin twice a day, baby asprin, had a Intralipids transfusion last Sat. Just started Progesterone shots.

All this to say, my RE is leaving it up to me if I push through with a transfer this Sunday. He doesn't think my lining will improve now or ever. He doesn't think I have good chances to get pregnant and should consider surrogate. I was frustrated by his lack of support - he wouldn't even prescribe me Viagra suppositories to try.

Do you think I should push through on Sunday? would it make sense to freeze embryos for a week to see if i can get my lining thicker? or wait even longer and find a new doctor to treat me?

Thanks, Kacy

I could not make an opinion without seeing the actual photos, its always a difficult position when you dont have a good lining and your deciding when and whether to proceed. I feel never transfer unless you lining is perfect. at the least I would try viagra , neupogen washes. I dont know about the immune treatments you recieved as I dont have any of your lab data.
