Hi Dr. Braverman,

I know you may not be able to be quite specific, but had a question regarding a frozen 5 day blast. We currently have two frozen blasts left, graded a 4AB fully expanded and a 5AB hatching blast. The hatching blast was noted to have cellular debris near the ICM. Is this a poor quality embryo or one that might have difficulty. And is there a way to remove the debris post thaw? Thank you.

It sounds like both of these embryos have potental to succeed. Embryoplasty to remove fragmentation is done on day 3 , we can not perform this on day 5. Good Luck.
