Dear Dr Braverman

I have CD57 NK cells in uterus at 30 per mm squared and zero FoxP3 per mm squared... my IVF specialist is suggesting an endometrial scratch on day 5 of FET cycle - is this ok with NK cells in my uterus or should I avoid the scratch?

My RI is also treating me with IVIG, neupogen daily injections, clexane, progesterone and dexamethasone.

Not sure if the scratch is a good idea or not - if it can't hurt my chances I will do it but if it aggrivates NKcell issues then I won't.

Do you do scratches at all?

Your advice greatly appreciated.

thank you
Sandra

I need to know what your actual diagnosis is. Abnormal cells are just symptoms and you dont treat symptoms you need to know why they are abnormal. I dont put much weight into the CD57 tests on uterine biopsies, and you have offered no other data to begin recommending such treatments as neupogen and IVIG? The scratch test cant hurt , but again you are taking very significant medications with no explanation "medically" as to why.
You should complete a compehensive immune workup then after a diagnosis is obtained a protocol should be tailored to that . I would be happy to help you with this , regardless of where you may live. Feel free to fill out a consult request from the website and we can schedule a free 10 minute chat.
