Estrace didn't work, any suggestions

My question is... I have a history of mc's (poor egg quality & quantity). My lining has been thin, no greater the 5.5-6. That's on 2mg of estrace bid. Before meds it's about a 4-4.5. I'm at loss of what to ask my re what to do or try next. I had a Hystosonogram about 2 months ago. I believe grade 1 scaring. Any suggestions?

Well 4mg per day is not much in this setting. Normally we would track your estadiol level and if low and the lining remained thin we would rasie the dose or introduce another mode of delivery i.e. IM or vaginal. You would also want to consider vasodilators to help deliver more to the lining such as viagra, trental, vit E , lovenox and even consider G CSF intrauterine as well.

I do not remember my estradiol levels, but considered very high when on estrace. Would IM estrace still be benifical? Gcsf- do you have any doctors in Houston you would refer?

No Im sorry I dont have any affiliates in Houston at this time. No if you had good estradiol levels on estrace i dont see the benefit of IM. it may be that the lining is not resonding to the estrace or that their is to much vasclular constriction leading into the cavity .
