Dear Doctor,

My wife has very high NK cells activity and we used IvIg 7-14 days before frozen embryo transfer.

She used 6 primogyn (estradiol) each day and the level get up to more than 200 pg/ml in the final days before the beta HCG.

She also used lots of intravaginal progesterone.

In D7 and D9 the beta HCG was duplicating very fast and we decide to antecipated the second IvIg for D10 in order to give more protection to the embrio that was so well.

In the final decisive D12 beta HCG, the result was zero and we got very very very sad.

What do you think went wrong?

Do you the estradiol or the progesterone was the problem?

Could a imuno reaction of my wife body to the second IvIg killed the embrio?

Thanks,

David

NK cells alone are not enough information to make choices of medications or to determine what went wrong if the medications chosen failed. (see our diagnostic panel on the website for a complete immune evaluation). I would be happy to assist you in the complete diagnostic workup. Simply fill out a consult request from any page on the website and we will schedule a free 10 minute consultation.
