Just curious. they say ginger is safe during pregnancy. But do you believe that excessive ginger candy (over 250 grams/d) could cause a miscarriage during early gestation, ie 5-7 weeks and if so, how many days of eating this much could cause it? I have a friend who did this and she had a miscarriage thanks!

I dont think it is related, no data on this though , but I strongly doubt this.

Excessive use of anything is not good. Ginger has lots of health benefits. But taking excessive ginger is not good at all. Specially pregnant women should be more careful regarding the uses of ginger. Some experts have indicated that ginger can raise the risk of miscarriage, specially in high doses. This is why one should consult her doctor and reduce the uses of ginger.
