Hello, Dr. Braverman,We have a male factor and using donor's sperm. I'm healthy. In September of 2012, I was 36 y.o., I went through IVF cycle. We got 11 fertilized eggs. IVF and first medicated FET were negative. After the first failed FET my doctor insisted on HSG procedure, which didn't show any abnormalities. Then I insisted on Natural cycle FET (only with hcg shot and progesterone suppositories) and got pregnant, but unfortunately It resulted in a "missed miscarriage" at 8 weeks (chromosomal abnormality) and I lost the embryo at 11 weeks naturally. We then waited for 4 months and did another natural FET, which this times resulted in chemical pregnancy (hcg 50 ). My fertility doctor has no idea why it is happening. He says that both the embryos and my body are in perfect condition. Shortly after suffering chemical pregnancy I did a yearly blood test and found out that I am deficient in vitamin D (I had 18, and normal is 30 and up). In your experience, is there a connection between low vitamin D levels and occurrence of miscarriages?Based on your expertise what can be the problem that has led to consiquent miscarriages in my case?Thank you in advance! I am eagerly awaiting for your response!

I doubt the vit D issue alone is causing your issue, it may be a symptom fo an underlying immune issue. You should certianly have a full immune profile done to make a correct diagnosis. Based on your history I suspect you will find the problem lies there and these are treatable issues.
