Hello Doctor . We're currently with a clinic in Ontario -CANADA called NEWLIFE FERTILITY (Dr. Samuel Soliman) and we've just been introduced to the G-CSF procedure after 4 failed IVF attempts. She has the "killer white cells" as decribed on your site and is now due for her last and final transfer on Monday November 14 - QUESTION ??? Are the injections required pre and post transfer? Our doctor is recommending the G-CSF only after transfer - we are concenred that our clinic (new to this procedure) may not have all the facts.. PLEASE HELP ww.newlifefertility.com

Thank you

Mr. & Mrs Szagala (patient - Cathy Wilson -Szagala)

You should really have a proper full immune workup prior to any treatments such as G-CSF being recommended. Killer cells by themselves are not adequate but unfortunately as you stated used by most centers that do not have proper experience. I would be happy to assist you in the proper workup then i could make recommendations for you as to the correct treatment and timing of such. Feel free to call my office and schedule a phone consultation , Im sure I can help you.

Typically, what is involved in a "full immune workup"? We've had so many tests/bloodwork we're not sure what to ask our Fertility clinic physician? What information would you reuqire from our physician (Dr. Soliman)?

best is to just get me all the records so I can go through them, Ill know what to look for and ill be able to avoid any duplication of testing. I wont know exactly what to order until we've had a chance to discuss your entire history.

OK - our doctor (Soliman) will be forwarding all our files to your clinic for review within a week- The link to the clinic we're dealing with is http://newlifefertility.com/about_us.htm WHat is the best procedure when forwarding our information? Who should he call first or who should he ask for - can you provide a direct contact number for our doctor in order to expedite our files?

Thank-you Mr. Szagala

yes thats fine, Ill also need a copy of all testing that you have had up to this point, if your specialist has them you can sign a release to send them to me so I can have them prior to our consultation. If you havent already, please call my office and schedule your consultation, we need to have that prior to my discussion with your specialist.
