Hi Dr Braverman,

I had a positive OPK result on CD 14 (unmedicated cycle), and also some pain in the lower abdomen lately. On CD 15, Estradiol was 115 pg/ml, and LH 23 IU/L. The following day there was some light brown staining. That same day, another blood test result was:
E2 less than 20, and LH =28, while progesterone was only 0.47 ng/ml.

Does this mean that there was ovulation or not?

Thank you

Dr. Braverman

Either your first estrogen level was wrong or you ovulated. If you repeat the tests ina couple of days you will have your answer. If progesterone fails to rise you did not ovulate.
