Dr. Braverman,
I do have my follow up with you soon but I had a question about a result that I am quite interested about. I have been doing IvIg since 2/10 with 4 losses since (5 consecutive total). After looking over my NK Assay Panel I noticed that my NKs were actually pretty good.
50:1-13.9
25:1-8.5
12.5:1-5.5
I did notice, however, that then IvIg was added (12.5 and 6.25) my NK levels increased. That is not normal is it?
12.5 50:1-14.5
12.5 25:1-9.0
6.25 50:1-18.0
6.25 25:1-12.5
Thanks so much for taking the time to look at this I am looking very forward to our follow-up.

You have just documented the reason I do not use that test in my analysis. It is not physiologic as this testing occurs outside the body and IVIG uses other chemicals in the body to carry out its effect. In my mind that testing is useless so dont worry about it. the only reliable test is to give the IVIG then retest your blood in one week and check the levels.
