Hi Dr. Braverman:

We are getting to do round # 7 in IVF. This will be a FET with donor Embryos (AA)

With this cycle I use all the normal meds (estrogen) along with Fragmin 5000 iu twice a day, and prednisone 20mg per day at the start of the FET cycle.

I will also be given an IVIG infusion of 10g of Previgen 2-3 days prior to transfer and a 5g of Previgen 5days after transfer.

I'll also be taking 200mg of Hydroxycloroquine daily.

They are also considering using Nupegeon. Right now they are planning on me starting the injections at the beginning of the cycle ever 3 days with the last one being the day before the transfer.

From my research though, I seem to be finding info on daily injections of nupegeon from the start of a cycle, to the 10th/12th week of pregnant/one time only injections/and washes.

My back history includes 15 miscarriages and implantation failure, Thyroid issues, Lupus anticoagulant blood disorder, and NK cells are high, Our embryos are poor quality from our own specimens so that is why we’re using donors.

Does this seem like a good protocol to you ?

we really want to get pregnant, and stay pregnant, and have a healthy baby!

thanks Jessica

Hi Jessica, I am very sorry for your losses. This clearly appears to be an immune related case, but is seems the treatments are being doled out randomly. I would suggest having a free consult with me so we can review our case. I cant tell you now wihtout reviewing all of your labs what the correct treatments would be , but I suspect the IVIG may be at too low a dose for your condition. It may also be possible you have Mitochondiral dysfunction with your own eggs which may be amenable to treatment(see our most recent blog on this).

Simply fill out the consult form below and we can get this scheduled for you. I would not proceed with any transfers until we have had a chance to review your case.
