IVIG timing

Hi Dr Braverman,

There seems to be lots of different ideas about the best time to administer IVIG prior to embryo transfer.

In your experience, how many days prior to embryo transfer is the best time for IVIG infusion and what is your reason for this?

Timing, dose and frequency depend on the diagnosis there is no "routine" for this. Some patients have antibody mediated issues and then those levels come in to consdieration. Some have inflammatory serum "cascades" some have Cell mediated issues so as usual best to first know why you are using the medication.
