Hi Dr. Braveman,

I am 27, husband 33 with no issues. Did IVF due to blocked tubes and POS and got 5 high quality blasts.
1st frozen embryo transfer failed.
2nd transfer failed (using Lovenox and aspirin due to A1298C mutation hetero)
After both transfers I got fever on the 5th day aprox).

Tests done, all fine except for mutation: LEIDEN, FACTOR V x PCR, ANTITROMBINA III, T4 (TIROXINA), ANTINUCLEARES, AC. (ANA), ANTICOAGULANTE LUPICO, TIROIDES, AUTO ANTICUERPOS, MTHFR, MUTACIONES C677T y A1298C, PROTEINA S, FUNCIONAL, TSH ULTRASENSIBLE (TIROTROPINA), C3 COMPLEMENTO, ENA (PERFIL AUTOINMUNIDAD) (*), PROTROMBINA (FACTOR II) MUTACION G20210A x PCR, PROTEINA C, FUNCIONAL, FENOMENO L.E., ANTIFOSFOLIPIDOS, (PANEL COMPLETO), PROT. C REACTIVA (PCR).
Endometrial receptivity array (Iviomics).

After 2nd failure (no implantation) my doc asked me to do LAD. Came out very low, and I have just been informed that after 2 LITs is has not changed.

I know that I need more tests in order to know better what is going on and make an informed decition but I live in London and my embryos are in my homecountry in South America and I already have the ticket to go in 3 weeks for the 3rd transfer (never thought that LIT wouldnt work), so I need to do something fast to improve my succes probability based on what we already know.

My options are: Neuprogen, Intralipids, IVIG.

(I am not considering Humira because I think that my immune system is already a bit supressed (I get colds every month, eye infections every 3 months, warts on my feet, etc), maybe that is why LIT did not work?)

So based on what we have, which treatment do you think would be my best bet?

Thank you so so much
Chris

you have many tests but no diagnosis. Please see my Diagnostic Testing Page on our website to understand the correct way to evaluate a patient. I cant advice on your treatment as it would only be venturing a guess which I prefer not to do when the testing that we need to answer your questions correctly are readily available. My advice is always the same. Cancel your transfer , get the correct evaluation and dont waste your embryos , you can always get new plane tickets but not new embryos.
I can perform you evaluaton from any country and help devise a treatment plan for you . Simply fill out a consult request on my website and we can schedule a free 10 minute chat about your case.
