Presnisone substitute

Hi Dr Braverman

Can you substitute Prednisone with cyclosporine a during a cycle as to avoid pred side effects? If not, is there another immuno supressant that works?

Much of this depends on the indication and dosage, I mostly use prednisone and dexa methasone. First of course is to be sure you need it at all. Prednisone has only minimal passage through the placenta which is one of the reasons I prefer it.
