Dr. Braverman,

My husband and I had a follow-up consultation with you this past Saturday where we discussed the results of my blood work and my husband's semen analysis. You had recommended a few supplements for us to take and while doing our research we had a couple of questions.

1. You had instructed my husband, Dan, to take 200mg of pycnogenol a day and for me to take 100mg a day. Then you had mentioned we could purchase Maxi Flavone from Dr. Myatt's website. When looking at the supplement facts for the Maxi Flavone, it only had 5 mg of pycnogenol within the supplement. Is this okay? Would my husband and I be getting enough dosage of the pychongenol by taking Maxi Flavone, or should we purchase pycnogenol in a purer form?

2. Would taking L-Carnitine and Carnitine help us in anyway or is it unnecessary? (a friend of ours mentioned that this combination can help with male fertility)

3. You had written me a script to get blood work done to test my AMH and TSH levels. Do I need to get this blood test done on the 3rd day of my cycle or can this be done at anytime?

Thank you again for your help. We left the consultation feeling hopeful. I look forward to hearing back from you soon so we can go ahead in ordering the necessary supplements.

Pycnogenol is a flavanoid a type of antioxidant , maxi flavone has many flavanoids which together are eqaul to the 100mg of pycnogenol(she will tell you its even more).
L carnitine is another antioxidant cant hurt but you wont need it.

AMH and TSH can be done on any day of the cycle.

Hope this helps speak to you soon.
