Dear Dr Braverman,We have unexplained infertility and after a couple of failed ivf cycles (with no further explanation for cause of infertility) we decided to have some immune tests done. They showed that I had raised cytokines and very slightly raised nk cells. My clinic has recommended humira to treat raised cytokines, however for various reasons I'm reluctant to use this straight away especially as my levels were not too far above the acceptable range (Tnf-a 32.1, normal range 13.2-30.6). I don't have any joint pain or any other known autoimmune problems that would explain the result.I'd be interested to know if you use anything else to treat raised cytokines other than humira?Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I would agree with you , I would not treat such a minimally raised TNF with Humira, it may be that this is not even the issue at all . I would seriously consider a much broader investigation, I would be happy to assist you.
