Hi Dr. Braverman-

I have had a total of 4 pregnancies with only one living child, who was my first (now 3 and a girl).
Pregnancy #1: After TTC for 5 months we became pregnant and had normal pregnancy (Daughter was born at 36 weeks and 6 days with being dilated to 2-3 cm and 80-100% effaced from week 35)
Pregnancy #2: After TTC for 5 months, positive HPT and miscarriage at 5 weeks
Pregnancy #3: TTC after miscarriage for 2 months, Postive HPT. Diagnosed with Subchorionic Hemorrhage (SCH) at 7 weeks and miscarried at 12 weeks due to placental abruption. Boy
Pregnancy #4: TTC after miscarriage for 8 months, did one month of birth control to regulate cycle (not included in 8 months). Positive HPT, diagnosed with SCH at 6 weeks, pPROM at 17.4, miscarried at 18 weeks. Infection and infarction on placenta and baby normal genetically. Boy.

All tests for clotting and autoimmune have come back normal. Why could I be gettting these bleeds as well as loosing the babies?

What should I do if no tests are revealing an issue?

Thank you in advance.

Dr. Braverman

this is a very complicated case and at a minimum you would need both ours and your husbands HLA genetics screened and a full testing of HLA antibodies that may also cause these issues.
