Dr. Braverman,

I had a successful IVF procedure last year (irreversable vasectomy). I didnt respond well to meds, but got 4 eggs, all fertilized, two were transferred and resulted in twins up until 10 weeks when I spontaneously aborted. I had had severe pain, potential cyst rupture at 9 weeks that left me unable to move for days. We are not sure if this was the cause, but there was no other explanation. I am currently pregnant again from IVF. I did have a recurrent loss panel run, but I am not sure what that entails. It came back with two copies of MTHFR A2189c and my doctor has me on folate, lovenox and baby aspirin. As you can imagine I am desperate to keep this pregnancy but am terrified to lose it again. I know I cannot control everything, but what step should I take so that I have done everything I possible can to protect this pregnancy? Thank you in advance.
