I am a 30 year old mother of one very healthy 8 year old boy. I am of normal weight with no health problems.

I have had 3 miscarriages in the last 11 months. I was referred to a specialist after my second miscarriage several tests have been ran all coming back normal. This dr tells me to go get pregnant--after doing this here i sit having my 3rd miscarrige. I felt it was very careless of this dr to tell me to proceed without a plan of action. With all 3 pregnancies a heartbeat was detected but development would end around 6-7 weeks. I never passed any of the m/c naturally.

After getting off b/c about a year 1/2 ago I noticed my cycle was not normal (it used to be) its about 46 days long ovulating on day 29. I feel like this maybe a contributing factor to my problem. I am now seeing a new obgyn who thinks I may have a luteal phase defect. I think I have had every test possibley imaginable ran including cytogenetic testing everything has came back normal. I am also RH negative my antibodies have been tested and came up negative. I need some reassurance from someone who has more then just a hunch. Thank you in advance your response is very much appreciated.

Hello sarahjeen
You certainly need a full immune workup as this is the most likely cause of RPL after you have already seen a heartbeat. And I certainly would not get pregnant until this is done. There are other issues related to your long cycles (PCOS and other endocrine issues) that need to be worked up as well. There are so many treatments available to you.
Please call my office to schedule a telephone consultation, we can order testing and guide treatment any where in the world.
I hope I can be of service to you.
