Dr. Braverman:

I have had two losses this year - one molar (twin gestation), and one missed miscarraige (single gestation). With the missed miscarraige we saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks (127 bpm) and at 10 weeks, the baby no longer had a heartbeat. With both pregnancies we became pregnant on the first attempted cycle - we just cannot seem to maintain a pregnancy.

Lupus, hypo-thyriodism, and miscarraige run in my family. My mother is MTHFR hetero A1297C and had three successful pregnancies and one miscarriage.

I am hetero C677T, my is TSH 2.06, I am ANA+ with a titer 1:40 and a homogeneous pattern. I have several IgE sensitivites as well such as wheat, dairy and egg. I also suffer from allergies and asthma.

After my second loss, my OB stated that I should take baby aspirin, and a PNP with 1g of folate.

Do you think this is enough to sustain a successful pregnancy?

Thank you!
Best

Katie
