Dr. Braverman,
I am seeking some guidance on how to proceed as I am currently frustrated, but not ready to give up. In 2001, we were diagnosed with SCO. By 2004, we were able to do IUIs with at a m.ilitary facility. 10 to be exact. We did not have any success and they would not let us proceed to IVF using donor gametes. From 2008-2009, I moved to another milit.ary facility where I did four IVFs and one FET. Three of the IVFs were MDL and one was long Lupron. Each time I produced a lot of eggs, but only grade three or lower embryos…even with switching donors. From all of this, I had one chemical pregnancy. The clinic advised me to move on to donor eggs. Over the past year, I’ve been seeing a civilian provider and used my eggs. He diagnosed me with PCOS, heterozygous MTHFR and conducted two hysteroscopies to remove small polyps. We have now completed two more IVFs and one FET. During my last IVF, we changed things up and tried follistim and a reduced amount of menopur. Low and behold, I produced beautiful embryos (5AB, 4AB) and had some left to freeze for our FET. Even with beautiful embryos, I cannot seem to get pregnant. Each cycle, my lining is 9mm or better. All of my test results (to include NK Cell) come back normal. We have tried dexamethasone, lovenox and NeevoDHA. I am ready to throw the kitchen sink at this problem and find a solution. I am interested in trying intralipids (even with normal NK Cell results). I am also interested in your G-CSF study. Any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated!

Hi many patients mention they had "NK" testing and dont understand that it has become one of the least important tests in a full immune panel. Until I have had chance to see your full immune panel(which i would order) you cant say that you dont need Intralipids or something even stronger. I couldnt tell you if you would be right for th GCSF treatment until Ive had a chance to go over your entire history. Please call jackie in my office and she will assist you in scheduling a consultation with me. I am sure I can be of help to you.
