Dear dr Braverman,

i had 2 cycles with downrulation decapeptyl, menopur 375 IU and trigger pregnyl. I think it was a long protocol. Both times I had severe fragmented embryos.

My son is born from the second cycle after transferring 4 embryos.

i want to cycle again in the near future.

please can you tell me the cause of severe fragmented embryos?

please can you tell me if embryoplasty can be the solution for us?

kind regards!

Dr. Braverman

Most fragmented embryos are a sign of poor embryo quality . But we have learned that it is these fragments that get in between the cells and interfere with symetrical division and when we remove these fragments in our lab with embryoplasty , we have seen signficant improvement in embryo quality.
