Are you now giving patients the alternative to do SQ IVIg if they cannot afford intravenous IVIg? IS it really more cost effective? thanks

Yes we are offering it, based on the reduced dose that patients may need it should be 50% less then typical IVIG treament.

Dr. Braverman...

How do you determine if SubQ will be a better alternative than intravenous IVIG? Does it have less side effects? Regular IVIG gave me terrible headaches. How does one become a candidate for SQ IVIG instead?

THANKS!

any one is a candidate, there is not a lot of data on use in infertility yet, but good data in lung transplants that a lower dose of Hizantra is as effective as higher doses of IVIG. and much more convenient so I would expect less side affects.
