Hello Dr. Braverman and thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to answer my question. I am 26 and have had two recurrent miscarriages.I do have psoriasis and my father has Chron's.... I've had a panel of bloodwork performed including, prolactin levels, hemoglobin AIC, RH Factor, Karyotype of mine and my husbands chromosomes, Anti-cardiolipin antibody detection IGg & IGm, Lupas Anti-Coagulant, Factor V Leiden, MTHFR, Prothrombin, TSH, Free T4, TGA & TPA.

Everything came back normal except TSH & TGA. My TSH level was 5.0 and they said I was positive for Thyroglobulin anti-bodies. I have been placed on 25 mcg of Synthroid and they are going to check my levels again here in a couple of weeks. With this said and some research I have been doing, do you think I need to have Reverse T3 and Free T3 checked? Do you think I am on the right path for a successful pregnancy?

Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day :)
Summer

With your history I think you have to look at more on the genetic and cellular immune system. The antibody mediated portion seems ok , but with the family history I suspect there is more there than you have had tested. I agree with the synthroid treatment and just get the TSH down to around 1-2. But with the antibodies you do have sometimes it requres other therapies I would need to get a full history on you to help you get all the correct testing.
