I am currently working with a RI dr out of chicago. I have two children 7 and 5. Had no problems with either pregnancy. While trying for our third we have had issues. 3 miscarriages first at 13 weeks, second at 14 weeks, and third at 16 weeks. The third miscarriage I was on 40mg of lovenox which I feel extended the pregnancy. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and am on 40mg lovenox, 20mg prednisone, ba, prometrium 800mg, dha, metanx, and estrogenpatches. The dr found high NK cell activity and CD56, Pai-1, and mthfr. I live far away from any RI drs and I did just visit at 11 weeks to chek my blood flow to the uterus. It was perfect. Now they want to see me again at 13 weeks because they feel this is a critical time. Is this necessary in your opinion? I am also doing IVIG every 2 weeks and started them at 5-6 weeks pregnant. What is your opinion of my protocol?
Thanks.

I cant comment on the medication treatment as I dont have your entire history and test results., however Im not sure what they can do if they see you in person at this point since you appear to be on maximal therapy.

Thanks for your quick response...
The dr would prescribe a higher dosage of lovenox if the blood flow wasn't good. I was on 60mg but started getting nosebleeds so, I am not sure I would even feel safe having it upped.

I doubt the nose bleeds were due to the lovenox as they are very common in pregnancy, but I always check a heparin anti XA level to be sure my patients are on the correct and safe dose.
