I am planning to try to conceive (natually/no IVF) soon.

Cycle day 1 should be around October 20. I am planning on doing intralipids to bring down NK numbers (50:1 of 15.9%, %CD56 of 20.4%).

When should I start intralipids and how often would I need IL infusions?

Thank you!!!

ILs have a very rapid onset of action so you could actually start them within days of your transfer. However as I stated in a previous post, you dont treat NK cells you must treat the entire clinical and immunoloigc history . Remember the immune system is an orchestra there are no solo performences, you have to locate the conducter(the reason for the abnormalities) and thats what you treat.

Hi Dr. Braverman,

You mentioned that Intralipids can be started a few days before transfer. I will not be doing IVF, so in the case of getting pregnant natually, when would you start the first infusion (i.e. which cycle day?) Also, how frequently should one be infused?

Thank you!!!

I would base this decsion on the reason for the ILs and the clinical history. It s never a cookbook recipe.
