You need to see Dr Braverman

First, let me say, this is genuine, no one has asked me to write this, but if I could I would tell the world about how great Dr B is. He is kind and caring, returns your calls and e-mails in a very timely manner. He remembers you, he makes it personal and I don;t think anything can get more personal than infertility or trying to conceive.

This is my story, in Septmeber 2005, my husband and I married, I had been on the pill on and off for about 12 years. We decided I’d stop the pill and “see what happened.” We weren’t trying, but we weren’t not trying. By the end of November I had a positive pregnancy test, boy were we shocked. The pregnancy went great, I could not have asked for more. I delivered a healthy baby boy weighing almost 9 lbs!

Fast forward to July 2008, we decided it was time to have another baby. I got pregnant the second month we tried, but sadly lost the pregnancy at less than 6 weeks. We took a month off and then got back to trying. By February of 2009 we were pregnant again and unfortunately lost that baby at 6 weeks as well. I could not sit back and wait for a third miscarriage, so at the advice of a dear friend I went to see Dr B in April 2009. From day 1 I knew he was my doctor. He sat down with me and spent over an hour going over the possibilities and what they meant. My husband was not able to come with me so my head was spinning a little when I left there. About an hour or 2 after leaving the office there was an e-mail in my inbox from Dr B covering everything we had gone over! WHAT DR DOES THAT?!?! (This one)

After that we started the testing, Dr B always took time with me and made sure I understood everything. I had a laundry list of things going on. Hypothyroidism, a 3" fibroid, elevated natural killers cells and a blood clotting disorder. Very over whelming, but I knew I was in good hands. We had a plan....I took femera, got 3 good follies, triggered and had timed "relations" but bfn. The next 3 cycles were a mess. Once we missed ovulation somehow, by like a day and twice my crazy body made eggs from the time I ovulated til I got my period which is backwards. So Dr Braverman came up with a new plan. This time it was Ganirelix to suppress egg development at the wrong time followed by follistim and menopur, triggered and had times relations (this time by my schedule) and got a bfp! I was also taking prednisone and lovenox on and off during those mos. When I had an issue that I could not find information about on my own he sat in his office with me for an hour searching medical books and websites to find what I was looking for! WHAT DR DOES THAT?!?! (This one)We didn’t have to do IUI’s or IVF because my problem was not getting pregnant, it was staying pregnant. He never tried to push us to do more, but was as aggressive as I wanted him to be. He called me on holidays and weekends and late at night and held my hand through everything, as did his nurse Sandra. WHAT DR DOES THAT?!?! (This one) It took a couple tries, with a few bumps in the road, but I got pregnant again in July 2009 and this time it stuck. 5 months ago I gave birth to my beautiful little miracle baby and I can not thank Dr B enough for giving us our baby girl.

He is by far the greatest Dr I have ever known. If all doctors treated their patients like he does the health care industry would be so much better off. You are not a number or a dollar sign to Dr B, you are a human being who wants something so desperately that you can think of nothing else. He gets that! This is one of the hardest things you will ever deal with, let him make it as easy as possible. He wont rest until you have your baby in your arms.

Good luck!
