Thanks to Dr. Braverman, we are the parents to a beautiful three month old baby girl. After experiencing four miscarriages, we embarked on researching doctors who treat RPL and found Dr. B. After going through Dr. B's immunology testing, he discovered we shared a high number of HLA matches and were good candidates for Neupogen. Once I got pregnant, we were monitored by our local reproductive endocrinologist and maternal fetal medicine practices in North Carolina as well as Dr. B to keep the pregnancy on track.

For those of you out of state (or country), don't be deterred to work with a physician outside of your area. I was able to communicate with Dr. B by phone and email and made a few trips to NY to see him during my first trimester. I also had someone come to my home to draw blood to monitor my levels a few times during the first trimester while taking Neupogen. It takes a little extra logistical planning and financial resources but is such a small price to pay for the baby you are going to one day hold in your arms.

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Braverman and can never express our gratitude for helping us stay pregnant and see our baby girl born. We appreciate your dedication to the field of RPL and the amazing work you do to help so many of us realize our dream of becoming parents!

I think some try and simplify the workup ant treatment protocols on these type of cases. So much goes into the decision on what medications and how much to use. i could not possibly help you without knowing your entire history . As a rule 5mg of prednisone is a very low dose. but it migth not even be the correct medication for you .

I would love to hear of your experience with Neupogen. I am also working with Dr. B from Florida and his staff is absolutely amazing and answer any questions I may have, no matter how silly. I have been on Neupogen and there are no side effects other then the first few days. I would love to hear how you achieved your success as I am a few days away from transfer and looking for hope :) I have complete implantation failure (no pregnancies) but some issues with my HLA C and HLA G Genes. Congrats on your success!
