Hello,

I have a history of autoimmune disorders:

- HSP - Honoch Schonlin Purpura - lasted 6-8 months when I was 11-12, started about 3 months before my first period

- Non-specific autoimmune disorder - mimicked Lupus, but inconclusive tests - when I was 15

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in Dec 2011 through Laparoscopy

My mom also has Fibromyalgia and had complications during pregnancy with me (contractions started at 3 months, on bedrest the rest of her pregnancy), no problems getting pregnant with my or my brother - got pregnant first cycle after stopping birth control for both.

I have been trying to get pregnant since June 2015 with no positive pregnancy tests. I have done 7 medicated cycles with Clomid, no IUI's or IVF. My current Dr. is recommending a couple cycles of Femara + FSH injection before moving to IVF.

I have always wondered if there could be a connection between my past autoimmune disorders and my endometriosis/infertility and ran across your site.

Do you think it is worth investigating more at this point, or should I wait until I've had more treatment?

Thank you!

Dr. Braverman

you need our help. Do not proceed with any other fertility treatments until you have a full immun evaluation . Your strong family history is a key indicator. Fill out a consult form on the website and we can do a free consult to review your case in detail.
