Dr. Braverman,
I have been TTC for the past 3 years. I have been seeing my new RE for about the past year. We have had 7 early miscarriages. 4 of them were while having fertility treatments. I have had RPL testing which included the blood clotting panel. All that was found was MTHFR. I underwent a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy which found one small spot of endo and polpys which were removed. I have a fibroid that was no removed since it was not in a spot that would cause problems.

We then did an IUI with injectibles, which resulted in an early miscarriage. We thought it might be a chromosomal issue, since we never make it to the point of seeing a hearbeat, we either see a small sac on the ultrasound or it is a biochemical pregnancy. Just recently we did an IVF cycle with aCGH testing. Out of the 8 embryos tested, only 2 came back normal. We transferred both embryos and I had another early miscarriage. We saw a sac on the ultrasound with a yolk sac, but then a week later, nothing was different. My doctor has not mentioned immune testing, however, I will ask him about it at our next meeting. He did mention Dr. Kliman and the endometrial function test.

We do not have a problem getting pregnant as I have gotten pregnant with each fertility treatment, I just can't seem to hold the pregnancy. Is there any hope for my husband and I? What other tests would you recommend? We have started thinking about a gestational carrier, but I am not sure I am ready for that just yet.

No dont think gestational carrier at all . You need a full immune workup this is a classic presentation. Dr. Kilman does an excellent job with endometrial evaluation and we can order that testing for you , but that is only a fraction of the testing you need. Please call my office and schedule a consultation and Ill perform the complete workup for you. I have had so many patients told they need gestational carriers and we were able to help them concieve and carry thier own child. We have so many treatments available and you have not even had a complete workup as of yet.
