Hi Dr. Braverman, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis in November, and had a laparoscopic excision with Dr Michael Wynn-Williams here in Brisbane, Australia. A large amount of Endometriosis was removed, including leisons from my rectal and vaginal muscles via a "shaving" technique. I am feeling really well post-surgery with a noticeable difference in many of my sypmtoms (pain, acne, PMS, corrrected luteal phase length, etc). My husband and I are currently TTA pregnancy, but are open to changing to TTC if we had more knowledge about our fertility state.

I am wanting to know what you would recommend from here for a patient like me? I am seeing my Doctor in the coming weeks and would like to be on the front foot regarding questions to ask regarding testing (some ideas: testing ovarian reserve, suitability of using LDN for pain and pelvic health, genetic testing of HLA's, testing sytokine levels, etc). Essentially, I want to know as many pieces of the puzzle now so that it can help us inform our decision to avoid or try and conceive a pregnancy. Thank you in advance for your assistance and knowledge in this,

Sally Hood

I would need to know how old you are. The only testing that will be of any value is my testing (the rest is fairly worthless)

you can get these tests drawn at Dr. Gavin Sachs in Australia. Also have you been pregnant before ? outcome? .
