I live in Italy and will be 41 this year and we desperately want a baby. In the last year I have had four miscarriages, however, the doctors here keep telling me miscarriages are normal and although I have asked for tests they seem disinclined to agree.
Could you tell me what tests I should ask for, my first miscarriage was almost three months but since then it happens faster and faster.
If I can't have children I would much rather be told straight than to go through loss time and time again.

Hi Elle

There are many tests that would help us decide why you are having these miscarriages, you most probably can not get them done In Italy , but I can arrange to have the blood drawn in Italy and sent to our lab. At that time I can begin to give you answers.
Please call my office and schedule a consult with me then i wll organize everything for you . Ask for Kim when you call, there is hope as you have not even had a complete workup done yet. Also fill out the online questionairre before we speak.
