Hi Dr. Braverman,

I've come to you because I’ve heard great things about you from your patients on the Yahoo immunology support blog. I am a patient of AEB and I am going on my 4th cycle with immune treatments. I’ve been diagnosed with high NK activity (50:1, 25:1), elevated TNF-a (32%), low LAD’s, Hetero MTHFR, Hetero PIA-1. I’ve done 3 LIT treatments, IVIg, Humira, Dexamethasone, Lovenox, Fish Oil, BA, Prometrium…

So far the first 3 cycles around implantation I’ve had weak cramps, mouth sores, itchy skin and hives. I get some pregnancy symptoms for a day or two and then nothing and BFN.

We’ve been trying for almost 3 years and I’ve had 3 miscarriages at 7, 6, 5 weeks respectively. I thought with the immune treatments I would see some progress, but it seems my immune system is stronger than ever. I responded well to LIT for both LAD’s and NK’s, but my TNF-a did not budge with Humira. I am currently doing a second round of Humira, but if it doesn’t work I don’t know what else to do.

I’ve been reading about C-GSF and I wonder if I am a good candidate for it? Could you look at my file and give me a second opinion? Is the C-GSF something I could do remotely? I am in Canada and I highly doubt I could convince a doctor here to prescribe it; have you treated patients with C-GSF remotely before?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Carly

Hi Carly, yes I can help you with the c-gsf as we are launching a pilot treatment program as part of an international trial. As you can read from our discussion boards I have treated patients from overseas so it would be no problem to help you.
Fill out our detailed patient questoinnaire and fax it to me along with any records that you may have. Then call to set up a phone consult. I hope I can be of service to you.
