Just curious, have you heard about studies are starting to connect geographic tongue to psoriasis and autoimmune issues?

Could you please tell us all of the auttoimmune conditions that you know of related to this condition other than the one I listed above. Is hashimotos and lupus anticoagulant related to this?
thanks!

the only good studies on autoimmune associations are with psoriasis although there is some older evidence for connections with diabetes and Reiter's syndrome. There are indications that it can be affected by hormonal disturbances and stress, but this is not likely a direct cause, but rather an effect of exacerbation of the underlying autoimmunity.

Geographic tongue can be confused with several other conditions and before someone goes down the road of trying to figure out how it might be related to their reproductive issues they should make sure that a full differential has been performed to rule out other diagnoses.
