Hi,
I have had 2 failed IVF's. One with a fresh embryo, poor quality and one with two fresh good quality. The second IVF I was on 5 mg. prednisone and baby aspirin, but developed hematomas in legs. I went off the prednisone on day 8 of transfer and had contractions the next day, no pregnancy.
I am now starting a new cycle in late September. Is 5 mg. of prednisone enough? I believe the hematomas were due to digestive issues, which have been resolved. I would really appreciate another Doctor's opinion. I am older and do not have much more time for continous cycles. Thank you!

I think some try and simplify the workup ant treatment protocols on these type of cases. So much goes into the decision on what medications and how much to use. i could not possibly help you without knowing your entire history . As a rule 5mg of prednisone is a very low dose. but it migth not even be the correct medication for you . Please feel free to call my offic and they can schedule a 10 min free chat with me so we can review your case and the need for our services.
