Hello,

I have heard that you recommend these for some of your patients. Do you reccomened coQ10 or bioPQQ or ever both together?!

Also do you have preferred start doses and are these ok to take up to egg collection?

Both are fine to take. I use them up until egg retreival. The amount of antioxidants I recommend depends on the "inflammatory" status of the patient. The goal is to not oversuppress inflammation so if cytokines are too low I would not recommend COQ10(although small doses 100mg) Im sure would not hurt, but I would recommend higher doses if there was evidence of a hightened inflammatory state.

Thank you very much Dr Braverman. I have had high cytokines in the past but they seem to be mid range just now so that's interesting to know.

As I'm researching various supplements at the moment, I hope you don't mind me asking another question! I was wondering if there is a blood thinning risk if patients take Vitamin E (600iu during stimms) and high dose Fish Oils (omega 3 1500mg-EPA 750mg-DHA 500mg) when taking Clexane 40mg?

Do you recommend patients reduce Vit E/Fish Oil if Clexane is added? If so by how much?

Yes together they do have more of a blood thinning effect than just clexane alone. This is not a big issue unless you are going to have a surgical procedure or near an egg retreival. we have our patients stop all of these prior to a procedure.

Ok thanks. Do you mind me asking how soon before egg retrieval you consider it safe for stopping Vit E and the Fish Oils?

The Vit E I stop at pregnancy the fish oil we stop 4-5 days prior to ER.
