I am so happy to have found Dr. Braverman. He is a wonderful Dr who helped us achieve our dream of having a second child. My husband and I struggled to get pregnant with our first baby but after almost 2 years we got pregnant and had a healthy girl in 2011. When she was about 8 months old we decided to start trying again since it probably was going to take a while to conceive again. Much to my surprise I got pregnant that first month but my betas were on the low side, trhey were doubling but the numbers were low. At 8 weeks I had an ultrasound in which the baby was measuring smaller. 3 days later I started bleeding and I lost the baby. From then on I continued to get pregnant but had chemical pregnancies one after the other. After a year of this situation, I knew it was time to get help. I was recommended to go see Dr Braverman and after doing a lot of research i
I thought it was my last option ( we had been tested for everything and Results were always normal).
Dr. Braverman tested my husband and I and determined I had immune issues, low t reg cells that rejected the embryo. I also had a clotting problem and mild PCOS. He prescribed neupogen, lovenox and metformin. A month later I was pregnant and thanks to neupogen my body recognized the baby. It was a very difficult pregnancy, at 7 weeks I started bleeding and was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. I was put on bed rest and I continued to bleed on and off until about 12 weeks when the hematoma was absorbed and disappeared. The good news was short lived as I was also diagnosed with complete placenta previa. I was advised to take it easy but that was difficult with a 2year old running around. Everything continued to go well until 28 weeks when I had a big bleed. I was told because the placenta previa had not moved it wascausing the bleeds.I was hospitalized on and off throughout the 3rd trimester. A 35 weeks my water broke and I was rushed to an emergency csection. I had a girl weighing 6 pounds. She had some breathing issues and was taken to the NICU where she stayed 1 week. She is now almost 1 month and doing so well.
I had a tough pregnancy but I'm so grateful for my healthy baby girl who came a few weeks early but very healthy. She is a true miracle and I am so thankful to Dr Braverman for making this possible.
