ESSI is an Out-of-Network Provider. We work with most Commercial Insurance Plans that offer Out-of-Network Benefits. Our team will verify your Out-of-Network Coverage, help you understand your benefits, and work directly with your insurance carrier regarding reimbursement for your surgical care through our Pilot Program, helping make the process as smooth and supportive as possible.
If your insurance plan is limited to in-network providers, such as an HMO or EPO, or if you do not currently have coverage, we will guide you through our self-pay pathway, the Excellence Program.
This program provides the opportunity to work closely with our senior excisional surgeons in a personalized setting, with a focus on thoughtful care, surgical expertise, and optimal results.

Surgical Expertise Without Financial Roadblocks
At BRI / ESSI, we believe that financial barriers shouldn’t stand in the way of receiving expert surgical care.
That’s why we created the Excellence Program, to help more patients receive advanced excision surgery without the burden of high upfront surgical fees.
Who Is Eligible?
We want to make high-quality care accessible to as many patients as possible. Whether you have commercial insurance, limited coverage, or no insurance at all, we’ve designed this program with you in mind.
Patients with commercial insurance that includes out-of-network benefits may qualify for no upfront base surgical fee
with one of our participating surgeons: surgeons: Dr. Osbert Fernandez, Dr. Madhu Bagaria, Dr. Daniel Cibulsky in NY/NJ and Dr. Mallory Stuparich in California.
Self-pay patients or those without out-of-network coverage may qualify for a reduced base fee and flexible payment plan, based on your situation.

We can help schedule your Pre-surgical Consultation with Exam and Surgery in the same Trip if you are traveling from out of town.
Local patients will be scheduled as quickly as possible based on availability.
We're Not a Pop-Up Practice
The first time you meet your surgeon should never be the day of your surgery. Unlike many "pop-up practices" BRI / ESSI has been serving patients suffering from Endometriosis for many years.
Every patient is scheduled for a full Pre-Surgical Exam with Ultrasound/ Pelvic Mapping and Doppler Study and personally evaluated by a physician before any surgery is recommended or scheduled.
Dr. Vidali performs his own sonograms, Doppler studies, and pelvic mapping — no technicians, no outsourcing.
Our practice is supported by a fully US-based medical team including nurses, surgical coordinators, and doctors who know your case and provide care for you directly.
Surgery is never scheduled without a full diagnostic workup, surgical planning, and face-to-face consultation.
BRI / ESSI is a built-on continuity of care, long-term relationships, and supporting patients before, during, and after surgery.
